Disha Neogi

Hello! I'm Disha Neogi, Unit Secretary of Z220 (LS Raheja School Of Architecture) and co-host of Zone 2 Newsletter 2021-2022. When the pandemic struck, we were all forced to relocate our lives to the virtual medium. It is also what prompted us to explore new platforms, such as the live newsletter. Apart from the pandemic, we wanted to design an interactive newsletter to break the monotony and start fresh with new notions. It was a challenging endeavour, but the ultimate result is worth the time and effort. We hope that this newsletter becomes something everybody refers to whenever the year 2021 comes up in their conversations. I would also like to thank the Zonal President, the executive council and the Zone 2 USECs, who were a part of our venture.

"Hi! I'm Amrita Goyal, the Unit Secretary of Z223 - Anant National University, and the co-host of the Zonal Newsletter, Zone 2 - 2021-22.

The past year has been a strange one, where we as students had to adapt and grow in a situation conducive to neither. The pandemic has forced us to question our methods and practices, and rethink what it means to be an architect in the making.

In an attempt to respond to the challenges of the virtual medium, we decided to create a live newsletter - one which lasts longer than a traditional print, and allows us to explore and experiment with our ways of expressing.

We hope that this live newsletter memorializes the past year in a way that we can look back on fondly. As students, we overcame challenges and grew tremendously as individuals, and that in itself is something to be proud of.
